SEND Canada Fund

This year we’re asking you to consider a donation to our Home Office operations through our SEND Canada Fund. We know this is not the most glamorous request, but it’s very important! Last year our staff faced a shortfall in donation income which is affecting our budgeting for 2013.

The SEND Canada Fund is used for many dimensions of our work including recruiters’ travel funds, staff training conferences, software updates, and computers. We also use this income to lease our office, and to keep the lights turned on! Of course, all this is in support of our workers around the world.

Working together on Initiatives!

Working together to accomplish the goal. Whether it's all of the parts of a combine working together at harvest time, a team of men and women working together to build a unique product or it may be just the fun of playing a game of tug-of-war, it all takes teamwork to get the job done properly.

It is the same way in missions.  Here is an example.  The task: inform Maritime Churches and Bible Schools about what God is doing in His harvest field.  The action plan:  Send a group of ministry representatives from 8-9 mission agencies to the region to minister in the Churches and Schools.  The results:  more mission recruits are coming from the Maritime Provinces.  This is called collaboration - working together with the Lord's help to see more people and Churches getting involved in missions

 In 2013, we hope to increase our collaborative work with more Canadian mission agencies. There will be extra costs to move ahead with these opportunities.
